What We Value

Prayer & Worship

Prayer & Worship is at the heart of who we are, and we believe it is expressed in many ways.

Whether through music and song, or through moments of quiet and reflection,

we seek to worship God in spirit and truth, honoring Him in every aspect of our lives.

One of our highest priorities at Frankston Life Church is worship—worship that flows from our deep devotion and desire for intimacy with God. Worship, to us, is best described as an expression of adoration and exaltation. Whether through singing or simply standing in awe of Him, our focus in worship is always God and God alone.

During these intimate moments, you may experience healing, receive a touch from His hand, or hear a word of encouragement. Our strength, as a community comes from these times of closeness with the Lord, as His presence comes to dwell among us.

We also meet every Tuesday at Frankston Life Community Hub, 7a Station Street, Frankston. 10:30am-12

At Frankston Life, we have been blessed to write and produce many of our own worship songs, primarily written by Susanne Whitby. These songs, under the banner of 'Southwind,' are a heartfelt expression of our worship and exaltation of God, drawing us into His presence.

Relational Community

At Frankston Life, we are a family of believers who place a strong emphasis on relational community. We believe that genuine relationships are at the heart of our faith, and we are committed to creating meaningful spaces for connection, prayer, and fellowship.

Our desire is to cultivate an environment where every person is truly seen, known, and loved. We aim to foster a community that reflects the love of Christ, where people feel valued, supported, and encouraged as we walk together in faith.

We hold community and family close to our hearts, and this is expressed through the beauty of multi-generational relationships.

We intentionally reach out to embrace the lonely and disconnected, making sure that Frankston Life is a place where people of all ages and backgrounds can find belonging, acceptance, and unconditional love.

Mercy is a cornerstone of our values, reflecting the heart of our Father.  We are committed to walking alongside people in their journeys, going the extra mile to show compassion, support, and care to those in need.

Missions

Under the banner of missions, we at Frankston Life are committed to answering the Lord’s call to serve.

We believe that our mission extends beyond our own walls, reaching into our local community, the broader church, and the nations.

Our heart is to be a beacon of light for the city of Frankston, actively supporting and partnering with other churches while extending Christ’s love to the world.

Through prayer and intercession, we intercede for our city, our nation, and the global church, believing that God has called us to make an impact that goes far beyond our immediate surroundings.

We are dedicated to living out this mission by serving others with humility and compassion, carrying the love of Christ wherever He calls us.

About

Frankston Life Church was launched in May 2017, but our journey goes back much further. Originally known as Jubilee Church, we’ve been in a season where the Lord has been reshaping our vision and purpose, leading us to become Frankston Life

.

A key scripture that guides us is Isaiah 58:12:

"Those from among you will rebuild the ancient ruins; you will raise up the age-old foundations; and you will be called the repairer of the breach, the restorer of streets to dwell in." This verse captures our mission—to bring restoration and renewal to both individuals and our community.

Over the past year, we've been through a significant time of transition, reimagining our structure and reigniting dreams we've held for our church and community hub. You can learn more about our vision at www.frankston.life/community

At Frankston Life, we are passionate about organic growth and horizontal leadership. This means that instead of focusing on rigid structures or a top-down approach, we prioritise relational community.

Organic growth happens naturally as we nurture people’s faith, allowing the church to grow in a way that feels authentic, like a family.

We believe that as people grow closer to God, the church flourishes without needing to force it.

Horizontal leadership means we believe in shared leadership rather than relying on a single leader at the top.

We have established a team-based approach where leadership is distributed across our Ministry Oversight Team, who then are starting to create spaces of community,  empowering each person to use their gifts and play a meaningful role in the life of the church.

Our heart is not just to lead but to see people raised up and released into their God-given callings.

We are committed to equipping and empowering everyone to step into the purpose God has for their life, whether it’s within the church or in their everyday world.

This leadership model reflects the early church in Acts 2, where believers devoted themselves to teaching, fellowship, breaking bread, and prayer.

"They were together and had everything in common. They sold property and possessions to give to anyone who had need. They continued to meet together, shared meals in their homes with glad and sincere hearts, praising God and enjoying the favor of all the people." (Acts 2:42-47)

Just like in Acts 2, we strive to be a community where people do life together, meeting in homes, sharing meals, praying, and living generously. This is where true pastoral care begins—in the context of genuine relationships.

As we move forward, our commitment is to be a church that not only gathers on Sundays but walks together in every aspect of life. We are deeply committed to fostering an environment where each person is seen, known, supported, and released into all God has for them.

This is the heartbeat of Frankston Life—a church built on authentic relationships, where we do life together in community, just as the early church did. We want to be a place where everyone is seen, known, and valued, where pastoral care happens naturally through shared life, and where people are supported in every season. Our desire is to create a space where people grow in their faith, experience the love of God, and are encouraged to live out their calling as part of a vibrant, Christ-centered community.

We are still learning and growing, but this is our heart... we invite you to come on the journey with us.
